What is pingNpay and where can I use it?

pingNpay is a payments service which enables you to pay other users of the pingNpay service and to receive payments from other users, using a mobile device. To use the pingNpay service you need a wallet. pingNpay issues its own wallets through the pingNpay-direct wallet service.

Who can use pingNpay?

For the moment, only users enrolled in the pingNpay-direct wallet service may use pingNpay. Users may hold either a personal account or a retailer account. All enrolled participants hold a personal account unless pingNpay has agreed a participant holds a retailer account.

The difference between a personal account and a retailer account is the fee (if any) that is charged on the account.

What is a pNp Id?

The pNp id is unique to you. Its format is xxxxxx$west.pingnpay.com where xxxxxx is the identifier you chose or generated when you signed up. It is the address payers use to send you pingNpay payments and which you give to other pingNpay users when requesting payment from them.
